							February 2003 finds the Guild busy completing detached orphreys to add to the Celtic Saints set, seen here on the left. One is based on St Magnus for Archbishop Conti, another St. Patrick design is bound for Fr. Driscoll in Indiana, and the St. Flannan vestment will go to Fr. Conway in Kirkintilloch. Netta is doing the working drawings for a 25 foot mural for St. Joseph's church in Glasgow. It contains 22 panels, some in canvas embroidery and some in quilting. The text is based on the theme of St. joseph protecting the Holy Family, and incorporates part of the Hymn of st. Columba and part of the Rune of St. Patrick. We are also completing a copy of the Maolrubha orphrey, the original of which we presented to Fr. Jamie McNeill on the Island of Skye.
